I arrived around dusk at a location near Mt. Irish, with the moon soon to rise from the East. As the temperature dropped at dusk, there was a noticeable shift in the humidity, wind, and sounds, and even the smells. First I positioned my equipment: one camera overlooking this scene to record a timelapse and my main camera to shoot this photograph. Then I started light painting.
